We recently had a written Q & A with TJ of the Shark Tank Podcast.  I enjoy these opportunities to reflect on all that has happened over the past year.  Life is so busy that it is nice to have the chance to step back and realize all that has changed and shifted.  It is amazing that a year has gone by since we aired on Shark Tank on Halloween.  Check out the update on the link below! http://www.sharktankpodcast.net/myself-belts-update-1-year-after-the-shark-tank/

We are all in back to school mode, whether you are a month into school already or starting next week.  There are so many mixed emotions about heading back to school.  Missing the laziness of summer, eager for structure, disbelief that the kids are a year older, nostalgic about how fast time moves.  All of this is rolled together and makes us all excited, tired, and maybe a little confused!  We wish your kids a great start to school and hope you enjoy a few extra minutes of peace and quiet once you hustle them out the door.

We have a new buckle to share with you that we are so excited about!  It is a heart shaped buckle that can slide onto any belt and is a great complement to our current square shaped buckle.  We hope that the little girls in your house love it as much as we do!  It should arrive in a couple weeks and a belt with heart buckle is a perfect Valentine's Day gift!        

As the crazy week of our Shark Tank airing approaches, I have been reflecting on how all of this came to be...It truly is something that I never thought would actually happen.  Of course I hoped that I would have the opportunity to pitch to the sharks, introduce the world to Myself Belts, and hopefully have a new strategic partner.  These were just wishes though, crazy pipe dreams that we all have when we fantasize about exciting wild ideas.   Shark Tank Isn't For Me...Or is it? I've been reminded in recent weeks, how much fun family game days/nights can be.  When as a family, we can all unplug, gather, and spend some quality time enjoying each other's company- it is such special time.  Amidst the hectic days of driving in circles and racing from here to there, times when we get to stop and just "be" are so welcome.  I am also realizing how fleeting they are and how we need to make time to have these memories. I have been reflecting on how our games have changed over the years as the kids have gotten older....

We are so excited to share new videos on our website that make using and understanding the benefits of Myself Belts even easier.  The videos are embedded into our site, but can also be seen on our You Tube channel.  We have videos showing how our buckle works and how the belts works (there are videos for kids, teens, and adults).  We also have videos to help with sizing which answers the common question of "What size belt should I buy?".  Check out the Myself Belts You Tube Channel to see of our new informative videos!

We had such an amazing response to our "What Can You Do With One Hand Contest!"  We may have to make it an annual event as we loved seeing all of the creative submissions.  Some of our favorite entries were of kids who could do amazing things with one-hand because they have to, as they only have one working hand.  Check out Emma- she came in a close 2nd in the voting part of the contest.  Her video is pretty great!  So impressed!
